So you sound like someone who actually had experience with these wheels because obviously one cannot just come to a conclusion that a product made in China is automatically low quality. Don’t forget that most bikes are being manufactured in China and Taiwan nowadays. I have been riding a “low quality, made in China” bike year round for the past few years even during the coldest (-20 F)and wettest (rain mix with snow) winter season daily. I have accumulated over 6,000 miles on it with pretty much no issues. I also ride with racers and have no problem leading the pack when called upon. So please before you just jump to any kind of conclusion and spend thousands of dollars for that nice carbon wheel with ceramic hub bearings, give some of the lower priced product a try and try not to be a snobby cyclist. If you are not racing professionally like Lance and Contador, why care about spending a few thousand extra on a set of wheels that are slightly lighter and most likely weaker than the heavier “cheap’ but super strong wheelset.
